Len's Resume
Lenny LaCroix was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts too many years ago. At age six he began playing the piano and shortly thereafter started piano lessons. At age twelve he formed his first band, which he lead, played and arranged for. At age 17 he attended the Hartt College of Music of the University of Hartford. He completed the four-year course in three years. He was first in his class for the first two years and graduated cum laude. During his undergraduate years he formed his second band, a jazz quartet, which competed and won second place in the Georgetown Intercollegiate Jazz Festival. After graduation he went on to attain his Masters degree.
In 1969 he relocated to Los Angeles where he has worked as a pianist, arranger, conductor and composer for a rather eclectic group of clients who include but are not limited to:

He has written dance music for choreographers Michael Kidd, Gene Kelly, Onna White, Joe Layton, Gene Nelson and Danny Daniels to name a few.
He has worked on television projects with producer/ directors Nick Vanoff, Marty Passetta, Don Misher, Pierre and John Cossette, George Slaughter, Lee Mendleson , Gary Smith and Dwight Hemion.
He has produced music for Royal Caribbean, Radisson, Holland America, Silverseas, and Oceanea cruise lines.
In his spare time Lenny loves to sail his twenty-eight foot sloop, Fox Hunter, around the Channel Islands off the California coast. Travel is also very high on his “down time’ list. This is rounded out by a love of cooking.
